postscript to my earlier post about the moon….

today out on the bay i was witness to the fact that moon, amongst other celestial factors, has been exerting an unusual amount and kind of influence on the tides. it was the highest tide of the year, a couple feet higher than the normal high tide, giving way to the lowest of the year, and we hit swells coming from the north. extremely unusual conditions out there.
